Villa User Guide
Please read these instructions carefully before your stay. Please respect the villa as your own home. Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. Parties, pets and unregistered overnight guests are not allowed. Maximum occupancy must not be exceeded. Report any accidental damage to the host at once. Do not drag objects across wooden floors or stairs. The villa will be inspected after your stay to ensure everything remains in excellent condition.
Arrival and Departure – Smooth check-in for a carefree holiday
Check-in from 17:00. Our host will personally welcome you and introduce the villa. Check-out by 11:00. Kindly ensure all doors are locked, personal belongings are taken, and any breakages are reported. The main entrance is on the ground floor, at the end of the outdoor stairs. The door next to the carport is for maintenance use only. Doors work with a code provided before your holiday. Share this code only with your group – never with outsiders.
Heating and Ventilation
Heating is set automatically. Do not adjust the white thermostats in rooms or public areas – they self-regulate. In winter, incorrect settings may cause the temperature to drop quickly. It will take quite a long time to achieve the desired temperature again. White thermostats are marked Staff only.
Main Switchboard
Located on the ground floor in the utility room, behind a cabinet door. If a fuse blows, contact the host.
Water Supply and Leaks
In case of a leak, close the main water valve under the utility room countertop. If a red light appears above the hot water tank or if drains on the ground floor overflow, contact the host immediately.
Light Switches
Outdoor lighting works automatically. The switches near doors are for outdoor lights. They are for Staff only. Indoor round switches: Press to turn on, dim/brighten by turning the switch.
Kitchen & Appliances
The kitchen is fully equipped: oven, induction stove, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, Nespresso machine, toaster, air fryer and kettle. Please use appliances responsibly and refer to manuals provided in the kitchen. Dishwasher tablets and cleaning supplies are located under the sink. There are two identical dishwashers (one on each side of the sink).
Utility Room
Washing machine and dryer are free to use. Open the water tap before use. Always close tap after use. Clean the dryer lint filter after every cycle. Please store luggage and outdoor clothes on the ground floor. Do not flush anything thicker than toilet paper. Vacuum, iron, and drying cabinet are free to use.
Sauna – Enjoy this quintessential Finnish tradition with comfort and care
The sauna is at the heart of Finnish culture – a place to relax, refresh, and enjoy the warmth. The electric sauna stove is operated via a control panel. It heats up in approx. 30–40 minutes. Check that nothing is on the heater before switching on. Settings: Soft: 75 °C for 2h, Medium: 85 °C for 2h, Hot: 100 °C for 2h. Children may not use sauna without adult supervision. Always use disposable bench covers and place them in the bin afterward. Wipe bathroom floors with the squeegee after each use. Do not splash water on wooden wall panels. Do not rinse the sauna with water after use; simply let it air dry.
Outdoor Jacuzzi
The jacuzzi is ready for use as soon as you remove the cover. Be careful – terrace may be icy and slippery! Always shower before entering the jacuzzi and wear a swimsuit. In winter, for extra comfort, we recommend wearing a warm hat. Do not add any oils, salt, foam, soap or foreign substances into the water. Do not eat in the jacuzzi. Children may use the jacuzzi only under adult supervision. Do not adjust the temperature control. Replace the cover carefully after each use. In temperatures below –20 °C, limit use to a maximum of 15 minutes to prevent the plumbing from freezing. Do not add water to jacuzzi yourself. Contact host if water level seems low. If the jacuzzi water becomes contaminated (e.g., by food, drink, or other substances), a €500 cleaning and refill fee will apply.
Loft Shower
Use the shower curtain and avoid splashing water at the door. Always dry the floor with the squeegee afterward.
Fireplace
The fireplace is decorative only – you may place candles inside, but please do not light wood fires.
Sliding Doors & Balcony
Sliding doors and loft doors are for summer use only. The kitchen balcony is accessible only in summer.
Ski Lift Passes
Two lift passes are in the orange box on the kitchen storage shelf. Passes are valid for all Levi slopes and ski buses. For bus schedules, see Levi’s website. If a card is lost or damaged, a €100 fee applies.
Recycling
Please separate cardboard, paper, bottles, and cans from other waste. Recycling bins are in the carport. Kindly remove all garbage before departure.
